Back in the ‘70s I first started subscribing to Road and Track, usually receiving subscriptions as gifts which was perfect for a car crazy kid. One of the things I remember was an article about a highly modified 1st gen Cadillac Seville, and I’m trying to find that article or pictures of the car in question. It was completely over the top - roll cage, huge flared fenders, and some monster V8, possibly twin-turbo or something yanked out of a NASCAR vehicle.
Does anyone remember the car or owner in question? I’ve spent a good amount of time looking and can’t find any pictures or links; the closest thing that I found was a modified one that Car and Driver did, but it was tasteful and restrained compared to the one I’m looking for.
Let me know if you remember this vehicle or the name of the owner. Thanks!

I usually hit Ebay for stuff like that. A “ Road Track Seville” search will get you a few hits from the 70s, and from there sometimes they will post the ToC, and from there you go down the rabbit hole with more detailed searches in Google.
Good luck.....example below, June 1975 article on the new Cadillac Deville.

ToC is key. I just wish the sites that sell old magazines would post that.

Damn, that’s not it. That’s the one I mentioned in my original post that C&D did that was restrained compared to the one featured in R&T. No huge fender flares, no roll cage, etc. C&D’s was tasteful, whereas the one in R&T was incredibly crazy and totally over the top, almost a NASCAR vehicle wrapped in a Cadillac skin.
